This week the Sunbeams have enjoyed reading the traditional tale 'The Three Little Pigs'. They used the props and puppets to act out and retell the story. We explored the different materials that the pigs used to build their houses and the children decorated their own home for the pigs to live in.
We used a variety of construction bricks to build houses . They explored using playdough 'cement' to make the walls stronger. In cookery we melted chocolate and mixed it with cornflakes to make 'mud'. They then counted three pigs to go on each one.
The Sunbeams created pig and wolf pictures by using different shapes. They used scissors to cut out the shapes and then they glued them to make animal faces.
