Friday 11th November 2016 - We've Loved Every Drop!

This week saw our current topic "Love Every Drop!" draw to a close with the final section of our non-chronological report focusing on the Humboldt Penguin that we enjoyed meeting during our visit to the Sea Life Centre in Hunstanton back in September.  We have covered a wide range of topics connected with water from how we use it to keep healthy (and our strong focus on teeth), how it is cleaned ready for us to use and as a habitat for a wide range of animals.  We have been excited and inspired by our visit, our hands-on experiences and our link with the CBBC Live Lesson from a Rockpool.

One of our homework winner this week, inspired by our studies.

This coming week we are looking forward to combining our autumn studies with our Roald Dahl Fantastic Mr Fox focus week.  Watch this space for more exciting learning!

About Me

Name: Year 3

We have begun our new topic of Chocolate with gusto in Year 3. We are learning the history of chocolate and about its origins.

The children are enjoying discovering characters in our story, Charlie and the Chocolate factory, and imagining their own inventions to be considered by Willy Wonka!
