A busy and rewarding term

As we approach the end of this term, it is a pleasure to reflect on our school achievements during the last few weeks! Our creative curriculum continues to develop, with children from all classes enjoying further motivational experiences to inspire their learning. Y3 had a fantastic time at Cadbury World, Y5 were amazed by wonders at the National Space Centre and Y4 have continued to learn in their immediate locality by visiting the meadows to further their knowledge and understanding of rivers in their geography topic.

Our Foundation Stage children have also been very excited this week as a brood of baby chicks have hatched before their eyes. There has been awe and wonder every day as they arrive eager to see the chicks.

It is very rewarding to see the impact of our new curriculum on our children's learning. There are further exciting creative learning opportunities planned in the coming weeks for all classes.

After School Clubs

In addition to our exciting curriculum, many of our children are enjoying attending our wide range of after school clubs this term including running, tennis, tri-golf and cookery. Some of our running club members were supported to take part in an inter-school running event on 3rd May at Langtoft by Mrs Davys and Mrs Lake. It was great to see them keen and eager to participate in this 3K run on a very wet and cold Sunday morning! Well done everyone.
