Our Fantastic Celebration of Learning Event

We held our latest Celebration of Learning evening on Thursday 11th June. I was so incredibly proud of our children and staff as they showcased their learning achievements from this term. I was overwhelmed by the number of parents and visitors who attended the event. It gave me great pleasure to be able to share our successes with our school community and to outline the next steps in our development plans for the school. Our vision of every pupil reaching their potential through us bringing learning to life for them is now a reality for our children. We were all able to enjoy a presentation which captured the impact of our creative curriculum on our children's learning and aspiration, as we reflected back together on the wide range of real life learning experiences they have accessed so far this academic year.  Our Young Voices choir demonstrated true aspiration as they performed the 'African Medley' and 'When I Grow Up' from the concert they took part in earlier this year. Then our Y3 class opened their fantastic literacy exhibition in the Gallery in the main entrance of the school which showcases the impact of their creative learning on their writing outcomes. I felt so proud of our children from Nursery to Y6 as they shared their learning achievements with their parents. They were motivated and excited to do so and rightly so! I would like to thank all of the staff and children for their hard work and commitment to making the evening such a success and all of our parents and visitors who joined us at the event.
