Emotions and Celebrations

Thank you for joining us at our Graduation ceremony on Wednesday. The children loved performing for you and we were so proud of them as they came up one by one to collect their achievements and photographs.

On Friday the children released the butterflies into the nursery garden. We will look forward to spotting them over the next week and I am sure they will be very happy in their new home!

Friday morning the children enjoyed another singing and story session with Arauzazu, we listened to a story about a little boy and a dragon and then counted in Spanish while singing some traditional number songs.

Next week we will be continuing with our seaside theme and under the sea. The weather looks very sunny so we will make the most of being able to have lots of water play activities. This week the children have created fish, caught and counted fish in nets and our literacy has focussed on the story of 'The Rainbow Fish'.

Our end of term party is on Wednesday and children can wear their favourite or party clothes. It has been a pleasure working in partnership with you during your child's nursery education and whether you are moving onto school or returning in the new term we wish you a lovely summer break and lots of luck for the future.

Many Thanks

The Foundation Stage Team
